If you are stuck inside a locked bathroom, try not to panic and call out for attention so that somebody can help you from the outside. Contact a locksmith if you cannot unlock the door or call the fire department in emergency situations.
Insert a very thin screwdriver into the hole in the middle of the doorknob. Wiggle the screwdriver around until you hear the door unlock. You don’t need to turn the doorknob while you are using the screwdriver. Screwdrivers with thicker rods will not work as these will not fit inside the door handle.

Another great tool to use is a screwdriver. A small or thin screwdriver will work best on interior doors or doors with privacy handles. Simply push the screwdriver into the hole on the doorknob straight through for as far as you can. Then, turn or twist the screwdriver until the lock opens.
