TracPipe® is a BSI Kitemarked stainless steel semi-rigid gas piping system, manufactured in Oxfordshire since 2007.
Is TracPipe CSST?
In 1997, the Company introduced TracPipe®, the finest CSST system on the market that when properly installed makes likelihood of damage to the system from natural occurrences very slight.

Can you put TracPipe underground?
Can TracPipe® CounterStrike® be buried? TracPipe® CounterStrike® cannot be directly buried in the ground. It must be in a non-metallic watertight conduit. TracPipe® CounterStrike® manufacturers an underground system which is pre-sleeved with the required watertight conduit called TracPipe® PS-II (patented).
Can you use TracPipe outside?
TracPipe® meets all of the requirements for exterior use, direct burial (both internally and externally) and use within fire protected area and can be installed in accordance with BS 6891: 2015 in premises (domestic and some small commercial), or in accordance with the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers
Where can TracPipe be used?
TracPipeCC® can be used as a pipe in pipe system for unventilated voids (horizontal and vertical runs) In continuous lengths (no joints), TracPipe® and TracPipeCC® can be routed within fire protected areas as the products meet Fire Test A of BS EN 1775, Annex A.
What PSI is TracPipe rated for?
Pipe – TracPipe CounterStrike tubing shall be 300 series Stainless Steel Strip conforming to ASTM A240 rated for 25 psi and have an elevated pressure rating of 125G for sizes up to 1 ¼” and 25G for 1 ½” and 2”.
Can TracPipe be used for LPG?
TracPipe AutoFlare fittings are used to connect TracPipe. No welding, soldering or threading is required. For Natural Gas and LPG.
Is TracPipe bonded?
The Tracpipe® gas piping system shall be bonded in accordance with the National Fuel Gas Code, NFPA 54/ANSI Z223. The piping system is not to be used as a grounding con- ductor or electrode for an electrical system.
Does Counter Strike have to be bonded?
Counterstrike® must be bonded in accordance with the National Electrical Code NFPA 70 Article 250.104 in the same manner as the minimum requirements for rigid metal piping.
Are Gastite fittings reusable?

The self-flaring fitting produces a metal-to-metal seal, and is reusable. The fittings have standard NPT threads and may be used in combination with all approved fuel gas piping materials with pipe thread as an interface.
Does TracPipe need to be sleeved?
1. Where TracPipe®CC™ passes through walls or floors it must still be sleeved in accordance with the requirements of Clause 8.7 of the TracPipe® D&I Specification. At the meter box, TracPipe®CC™ should still pass through the sleeve/spigot provided, with the annular space being sealed within the meter box.
Can you direct bury CSST gas pipe?
Can it be buried? Yes, however it must be sleeved in a non-metallic conduit ½” larger than the pipe.
Can gas TracPipe be buried?
Can Gastite® CSST be buried? Yes, it can. Gastite® CSST is suitable for both internal and external installation allowing for direct burial. The manufacturer’s instructions must be adhered to.
