Answer: Talstar P and Bifen IT are essentially the same product but made by different manufacturers. Bifen IT is the low cost, generic version of Talstar with the same efficiency. Talstar P and Bifen IT both share the benefit of being a low toxic option with minimal dermal toxicity.

How quickly does Talstar work?

Answer: It all depends on the insect that is walking over the area treated with Talstar P, but most will die rather quickly, which means within 20 to 30 minutes to a few hours. Larger insects can take longer, such as roaches, scorpions, and spiders can take a day or two sometimes. Definitely not 7 to 10 days.

Answer: There would be no valid reason for mixing Bifen XTS with Talstar P or Tengard. Mixing 2-3 insecticides together does not make either stronger and can contaminate an area making it highly repellent so that insects will avoid it and neither can do their job of killing the insects.
