If you are having difficulty finding Krause & Becker parts, the good news is that many of the parts such as O rings and sprayer tips are interchangeable with other models of paint sprayers such as Titan ControlMax 1700 and 1900 and Graco Sprayers.
Why did my paint sprayer stopped working?
If your airless paint sprayer stops spraying all of a sudden, it is likely due to a clogged tip. With most tips, it’s easy to get rid of clogs. Find the arrow-shaped handle and turn it so that it is pointing backwards. Aim the gun into a waste pail or scrap piece of cardboard and pull the trigger.
Will Graco tips fit Avanti?
This AVANTI® 519 Paint Spray Tip is easy to use, easy to clean. The reversible design makes it easy to clear blockages without a separate filtration system. Fits AVANTI® and BAUER™ airless paint sprayers and most major competitors including GRACO and TITAN.
What tips work in Krause and Becker?
Krause and Becker spray guns are included 4 tips in the package. In which, the two 0.032-inch tips are great for latex paints while the two 0.021-inch tips (one of which is extended) are best reserved for thinner fluids.
Will a Graco spray tip fit a Wagner sprayer?
These are usually ⅞ fitting, and they’re interchangeable between the different brand guns. Graco FFLP fit in the Graco RAC-X holder, while Wagner HEA use the Trade Tip 3 holder (e.g. an FFLP tip will not fit on a Wagner gun without swapping over the tip holder, etc.)
Do airless sprayers use more paint?
Airless paint sprayers are extremely popular, but also tend to waste more paint on average than other types of spray guns. Your run-of-the-mill airless paint sprayer will waste up to 40% of the paint that you use, and even more if you aren’t operating the spray gun properly.
Do professional painters use sprayers?
When a home is being built you will see professional painters using a paint sprayer. Most of the time this is because there is very little to mask off because there’s no furniture and typically no flooring in the space. But in addition to spraying professional painters will also back roll.
Is airless or HVLP better?
Vertical spraying: An HVLP is better for vertical spraying small projects than an airless, especially if you’re new to spraying. You’re far less likely to get paint runs because you’re spraying at a much lower pressure. An airless cranked up to 2,000 PSI throws a lot of paint onto the surface quickly.
How do you thin water based paint?
When thinning your water-based or latex paints, use half a cup of water and mix thoroughly. If you have added too much water and the paint just runs out, it is too thin, and you will not be able to use this. You will need to slowly add some paint into your paint bucket, start with half a cup of paint.
