Greirat’s questline is short, but filled with tragedy.
Step 1 – Free him from the cell beneath the Tower on the Wall bonfire. Step 2 – Reach the Undead Settlement. Step 3 – After getting a little further through the Undead Settlement, return to Greirat and he will ask to go on a loot run.
How do you get Greirat to come back?
Greirat will return after you defeat Pontiff Sulyvahn. Greirat can make a third scavenging trip, but at this stage it seems he will always die in the process. His body can be found on a rooftop in the Grand Archives in Lothric Castle. If Greirat is killed, you can loot Greirat’s Ashes from his body.
Where is Greirat after free him?
The Dark Souls 3 NPC, Greirat the Thief, can become a merchant in Firelink Shrine if you free him from his cell in the High Wall of Lothric area (by finding the Cell Key).
Who do I give the Blue Tearstone ring to?

Greirat is found locked in a cell at the bottom of the tower near the Tower on the Wall Bonfire. In order to free Greirat, you must first obtain a cell key. Luckily, the cell key isn’t far from this bonfire. However, you’ll need to face some fearsome foes to get it.
How do you open the door in the high wall of Lothric?
This is obtained from Ringfinger Leonhard after you speak with him, get the red eyed orbs, and then go find a pale tongue (can find one from a corpse hanging in undead settlement). Return to him after getting this tongue, and he’ll give you the key to that door.
