Each stick is half a cup. Also, the butter I buy actually has nice little measuring marks on each stick wrapper to help with the measurements when I need just a couple of tablespoons. I thought a stick was 1/4 cup..so 3 would be 3/4 cup.. too lazy to go check the fridge.
